Picture (by Stuart) and Proverb (by Addie)

"A cat always comes to a friendly hand."

It even rings with authenticity in that it isn't necessarily true but sounds real good.

Oh, I thought the proverb was, "A cat always jumps in the lap of a person who doesn't like cats and is trying to read."

Hi Puddles!

Does she actually come to the friendly hand at your house? She wouldn't at ours!

Queen -- In our house, actually, it's: "A cat insists on sitting in the lap of the man who is allergic to her."

Kelly -- She comes to MY friendly hand, and sometimes to Addie's. She loves Darren who can't pet her much, tolerates Daphne, and runs away from Stuart. Smart cat.

She looks quite regal and aloof sitting there staring straight into the camera. And how do you keep a cat in the house if Darren is allergic to it? Stewart seems to be a budding photographer and Addie an up-and-coming philosopher.(:

Fortunately, Darren and Stuart aren't badly allergic. Darren can't pick her up and cuddle her, but he's fine with her living around him. Which is good, because she was an outdoor cat about four days before we moved her in.
