Addie is my eager kitchen helper... um, sometimes I try to sneak into the kitchen to work without being noticed. But she's at the point now that she actually does help get things done faster. Here she's helping make Spice Chicken.

Well, this should shatter your rosy images of how great a house-husband Darren is. Here's photographic evidence that he just sits around with a bottle in his hand. Except he's reading because we don't have TV, and it's root beer, which really takes the edge off the whole concept.

One morning in our church's preschool Sunday School class the missionaries to be prayed for worked with a group of people where alcoholism is a significant problem.
"My daddy drinks too much beer, too," volunteered one of the elders' daughter.
"No, he doesn't," the teacher replied.
"Yes, he does," the girl insisted, "Sometimes he drinks TWO WHOLE root beers at a time!"
Sara, Addie is a mirror image of her mother! Amazing. Your kids are adorable and look like their habits as well as their features take after their parents.
She must love her daddy to share her bottle, we both know Daph isn't that into sharing. :-)
