Giveaway #1: Really Cute Pitcher

In celebration of ten good years together, we're hosting a giveaway of some of our favorite things.

Sara loves Fiestaware, but hasn't justified buying any for herself yet. But now, she at least gets to buy a piece: Fiestaware Mini-Pitcher. It could be yours!

To Enter:
Leave a comment telling what your favorite way to show love is. Do you buy a gift? Write a note? Give a kiss? Throw a party?

You can enter all the giveaways if you want to.

We'll choose a comment at random next week to find out who wins this adorable little pitcher. Wouldn't it be funny if we commented on the post ourselves and won it? Haha!

Oh. I didn't read the directions. Sorry. My favorite way to show love is to surprise someone with something special.

I think I show love by kisses or attempt to bake/cook something that is their favorite thing from the kitchen.

I show love by doing things for the person I want to show love to- something they usually need help with, to save them time, something I know they want or that pleases them...

Oh my goodness, how did I miss these giveaways? I MUST have this! LOVE fiestaware. I am going to show love for myself by buying this pitcher if I don't win this giveaway...Does that count?
Ok, ah, spending good one on one time is a way I show love to my kids.

I show love by grimacing at people (like my father before me). Wait, where am I? How did I get in here? Did someone put me up to this?

My favorite way to show love is with baked-goods gifts, or clearance-shopped gifts.

My favorite way to show love is by massaging the daylights out of people. Imagine the looks of surprise on stranger's faces, as this short little blonde attacks their shoulders with midget hands!

Oooh - I inherited my grandmother's fistaware, and this adorable pitcher would be a wonderful addition. (and it's doubly special coming from a friend!) 8-)

For your question, it depends on who I'm "showing love to", you might say. For the philosopher, I show my love by sitting and listening - for *really long* periods of time - to him talking about his current writing projects. (you know, scintillating subjects like Aristotle and representation, or Wittgenstein and Plato's Socratic Maxim, or the idea of Warrant in Plantinga). And I try to ask intelligent questions, like "Can you explain that more clearly?" - which is really tough because I usually have no clue what he's talking about ::grin:: )

I would catch them a delicious bass.

OK, sorry, seriously, it would have to be a trout, because I don't know how to catch bass.

I will generally try to show love for someone by doing something for them--helping with a project, taking care of an errand, or something along those lines.
