Addie saw a picture of Bratz dolls. I explained why she didn't have any: "They don't dress like young ladies should, they wear too much makeup, and they call themselves brats. I don't want you to be a brat."

Then I said it.

In my defense, I was referring to Elina or Genevieve. These two characters are actually rather good role models.

Still, I said it.

"I'd rather you be like Barbie than Bratz."
